Our Founder
Anthony Ferro has spent 25 years as a Southern California firefighter responding to wildfires across Los Angeles County. That experience is the foundation of how Marilynn & Co. builds.
Anthony started the company with a straightforward premise: a home built in Southern California should be designed around the realities of Southern California. That means understanding where fire travels on a hillside, knowing which materials hold up and which ones do not, and thinking about how a home performs in ten years and twenty — not just on the day escrow closes.
Most luxury home builders in Los Angeles can build a beautiful house. Fewer of them have stood inside a structure fire and understand from the ground up why homes fail. We start with the site and the vision. Bring us your lot address, your ideas, and your questions. We will walk the property, talk through what is realistic for the budget and timeline, and give you an honest picture of what the process involves before you make any commitments.

We work with your architect or ours to develop plans that are driven by the site and built around how you actually live. Material selection, structural engineering, energy systems, and fire-resistant detailing all happen in this phase — before construction begins.

We manage the permitting process in full, including all LA County and city-specific requirements. Los Angeles permitting can be a long road. We have run it hundreds of times and know how to move it forward without surprises.
